Three new deals on Cavill Avenue

Alma Property is thrilled to announce the successful lease of three prime tenancies on Cavill Avenue, nestled in the heart of Surfers Paradise. We are proud to have facilitated these lease transactions, further strengthening our presence in this vibrant retail precinct.

Alma Property has been actively securing leases on Cavill Avenue for many years, and these latest deals reflect the dedication and expertise we bring to this key market.

Cavill Avenue is home to a diverse mix of retailers, including 7-Eleven, Yankee’s Burger & Bar, Cotton On, Ghanda Clothing, Adidas, City Beach, McDonald’s, Grill’d, GYG, Starbucks, and many more. This area offers an outstanding opportunity for retailers looking to position themselves in a high-traffic, established location.

Surfers Paradise, located on Queensland’s iconic Gold Coast, is a renowned coastal destination known for its stunning skyline and the pristine sands of Surfers Paradise Beach. The area boasts a vibrant mix of local markets, festivals, upscale venues, and retail establishments, making it a prime spot for both relaxation and commerce.

15 Cavill Avenue

Ground Floor 45m²

This tenancy was leased to QuikStop, a boutique convenience chain that has rapidly expanded since its inception in 2014 and now operates over 20 stores across Australia, with plans for further expansion into capital cities nationwide.

A robust marketing campaign attracted interest from retailers across Australia, resulting in QuikStop securing the lease with a competitive offer and compelling product offering and fit out design. The space was occupied by Lovisa, a globally recognised jewellery brand with over 900 stores in more than 45 countries.

23 Cavill Avenue

Ground Floor 281m² + Level 1 mezzanine 120m² = Total Internal of 401m²

This prime space has been leased to Just in Paradise, a local retailer that outgrew its previous location at 25 Cavill Avenue due to strong sales performance. Specialising in fun gifts and souvenirs, the expansion strategy is a testament to the vitality of this precinct.

Previously, the space was occupied by Off Ya Tree, which operated as a retail store and tattoo/piercing studio on Level 1. Following Off Ya Tree's decision to close its Gold Coast locations, this space presented an excellent opportunity for Just in Paradise to expand.

25 Cavill Avenue

Ground Floor 207m²

With Just in Paradise moving a few doors up, the move allowed Ghanda Clothing to increase its existing Cavill Ave footprint. The 200 sqm tenancy added to their existing 221 sqm tenancy created a total space of 441m² with a 12-metre frontage to Cavill Avenue. The brand now has 100+ stores across Australia.

These three new leases highlight the continued demand and attractiveness of the Cavill Avenue retail precinct. Recognised for its consistent foot traffic and central location, Cavill Avenue remains an unparalleled retail hub on the Gold Coast.

Alma Property's continued success in securing prime tenancies within this bustling precinct highlights our commitment to fostering strong partnerships and creating vibrant retail environments. We look forward to further enhancing the area's appeal and supporting the growth of innovative and dynamic retailers in this iconic location.
